Did Kamala Harris Really Receive Zero Votes in These Districts?
We called voters in the districts in Rockland County, NY that recorded zero votes for Vice President Kamala Harris
The Zero Harris Districts of Rockland County, NY
There are districts in Rockland County New York where Vice President Kamala Harris received zero votes, even though the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate received hundreds of votes. We investigate and report back.
On background: The Rockland County NY lawsuit challenging the 2024 election is moving forward. It was dismissed and has been appealed. The strength of the case is not in these zero Harris districts, which were never mentioned in the lawsuit. The case rests on affidavits of voters who say they voted for U.S. Senate candidate Diane Sare in greater numbers than the county Board of Elections reported, as well as statistical analysis that raises questions about whether the votes for Harris are correct. A full hand recount would be the best way to answer these questions and that is what we are asking for in the lawsuit. However, these zero Harris districts were discovered, and so we've done our best to explore what happened there.

I’m going to talk today about the zero Harris districts. Those are the districts in Rockland County, New York, where presidential candidate Kamala Harris received zero votes even though the Democratic candidate for US Senate, Kirsten Gillibrand, received hundreds of votes. And there’s been a lot of speculation about those districts, and we’ve actually done a lot of investigation and research into them.
And I want to report back today about what we found. I’m Lulu Friesdat. I’m the co-founder and executive director of Smart Elections. Here we go. The first thing that I’m going to share with you is that I am reporting from my bed because I did fracture my ankle and I have a cast. And so for the next few weeks, probably I’ll be reporting from my bed because I’ve gotta keep the leg up.
Luckily, I’m still very functional and I’m still working full-time, even with the leg injury. So this is a chart of the zero Harris districts that we made. You can see here, it’s maybe not completely intuitive, but if you look at this column here, this is column G, and you can see that Harris received zero votes in these districts.
Ramapo is the name of the town. There are five towns in Rockland County, New York. New York calls these districts. Other states call them precincts. But they’re basically small local areas where people vote. So the numbers where Harris got zero votes were Ramapo, 35, 45, 84, 97, and 122.
There were these other two, but there were actually zero votes total there, so they don’t really count. And then there were also some other districts where she got anywhere from one to five votes, and we did track those as well. So these are Orthodox Hasidic neighborhoods, and initially we went door to door in these neighborhoods trying to ask people if they had voted for Kamala Harris, and it was clear that we were unwelcome. It was very difficult and uncomfortable. And so we wound up phone banking. We got quite a few people to volunteer, and we had the phone numbers of many of the voters in these districts, because we asked for them in discovery as part of the lawsuit. And so we had the information about who had voted in the election and we called people who were registered as Democrats or independents in these zero Harris districts.
Overall, what we found was that people were not very comfortable sharing information with us. They were rude. Hostile. They hung up a lot, and when they did share information, they universally said that they voted for President Trump. And so these districts are not as far as we can tell districts that we have questions about anymore. I’m just gonna show you some of our phone banking work. So here, this is Ramapo 35, and you can see we had, dropdown menus for the phone bankers to select. They would call and then they would note like refuse, didn’t answer, don’t have time to talk, refused, hung up. Doesn’t remember who they voted for, which is really just a euphemism, generally, for saying they don’t wanna talk to us, because people generally remember who they voted for for president. But doesn’t remember meaning, again, not cooperative.
When they were open to sharing. Here was one open to sharing and they didn’t vote. Hung up. Doesn’t remember, didn’t answer. When they didn’t answer, we would usually call back. We usually called back one or more times to try to get people to share who they voted for.
Refused. Do not call. Moved. Doesn’t remember. Hung up. Refused, refused, doesn’t remember. Hung up, hung up, hung up. So you can kind of get the feel of it here. And then, again, when people did say who they voted for, almost universally, they voted for Trump. That’s the red means they voted for Trump. And you can see these are the zero Harris districts.
We called and called and called. You can actually kind of see it took us weeks. We started around November 3rd, and you can see as the districts go on November 9th, 12th. 13th we called for an extended period of time to all of these districts here already on the 19th and the 20th. We were still calling.
This was Ramapo 58. If you go back and look at Ramapo 58, we had already gone through, pretty much all of the zero Harris districts and we moved on where Ramapo 58 was one where Harris received one vote. And we even tried some of the districts where she actually received even more than one vote. 104 she received three votes. In that case, we would’ve actually had to find four Harris voters to make the case that the results were inaccurate and we could not even find one Harris voter in all of these districts that we called. I will tell you this little anecdote. We did have one voter who said that he voted for Harris. And then we sent a team to his door to try to get an affidavit.
And when they arrived, his wife and his daughter answered the door and they said that he had not voted for Harris and they voted for President Trump. So either the community was, closing the door and basically saying, we’re not going to communicate to an outside group. Or possibly he was just trying to impress the caller who was a female caller. And so maybe he was just telling that caller what she wanted to hear, which he could probably sense was that, we were looking for Harris voters.
So this was the only instance where we had somebody who actually said that they voted for Kamala Harris in all of these districts. So I am just reporting back that we did to the fullest extent that we were able to explore these zero Harris districts. And as far as we can tell, there’s a couple possibilities here.
One is that there are Harris voters there, but that they are absolutely not going to share that information with us. That would be something private that they chose in the voting booth that they probably did not even share with their community. Or the other possibility is that this really is a closed community that voted based on the recommendation of their rabbi, which in all likelihood was for President Trump.
I want to report back the facts. I want you to know that we’re not trying to make the evidence look one way or the other. We’re actually really trying to explore and investigate what happened in Rockland County.
And for those who haven’t followed it as closely.
The case was dismissed, but we have appealed, and so we’re waiting to find out what the next steps are in that appeal. And to be totally frank, this information about the zero Harris districts was never even part of the lawsuit. The lawsuit never included this information because it wasn’t really the strength of the lawsuit.
The strength of the lawsuit is based on affidavits that were signed by voters who voted for Diane Sare, a Senate candidate. And it looks as though her votes were counted inaccurately. As well as statistical analysis that we did, indicating that Harris’ votes may have been counted inaccurately.
Those were and remain the strengths of the case. And this was just something that was discovered along the way. And so we wanted to fully investigate it and we have. That’s the latest report. If you wanna learn more about what we’re doing, I hope that you will follow, share this with others and check back. I’ll be trying to report back as much as possible.
And thanks so much for all of your support. We really appreciate you.

I do not understand the resistance to a hand count. Either it will prove there were no anomalies, as the incumbents claim, or someone tried to negate the voice of the People. Either way, everyone should want to know the truth of the matter.
Thank you for all your hard work. I have been sharing your url and trying to get the word out that the results of the 2024 election were not compatible with reality in the swing states.
